What do we do if we cannot remember our Admin password?

Our previous bookkeeper left on bad terms and we have no idea what our Admin password is. How do we reset this?

    Well it's actually really easy.
    1st do you know who's set up as the contact with Intuit? You may need the owner of the company involved in the initial conversation to make sure he/she is the main contact and if not- to get it changed.
    Then Quickbooks Support will walk you through downloading a reset tool on your computer and reset the password.
    It is free- this is something that they do not charge.
    The only thing that takes the longest time is who they can/cannot talk to.
    If the owner isn't the main contact: Make sure you change that. The owner should always be the main contact person with Intuit and he/she can make you a contact person so you can do this in the future without their presence.
